Quick study from photo.
I’ve been polishing this old poster for an exhibition coming up next friday, and I think maybe it’s just funky enough to post here.
Any portuguese child of the 80’s or older will recognize this best-worst series to ever grace the national TV screen.
A preview of the poster for an upcoming party in March, where I’ll be selecting the music as well. Details of the party still to come!
Oh, and it’s the first post on the other side of the black hole! Unfortunately, somewhere inside it my Warpspeed engine had a meltdown, and things have been pretty stagnant in terms of new work. I’m hope I come across an inspiration wormhole soon!
I saw many people have started following, thanks!
Just want to say I’m really itching to post more stuff, but I’m temporarily disabled due to a broken leg.
2 and a half weeks ago I got hit by a car when crossing the road, which could have easily been much worse, but I’m stuck with being immobile for some weeks, and drawing like this is still quite uncomfortable.
Been gathering ideas and inspiration though, so hopefully I’ll post as soon as I can use a drawing table or a tablet.
Meanwhile, I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a great launch of 2011! See you next year, on the other side of the black hole! :D
Thank you! Really happy some people are following now. :)
I’ve posted this elsewhere but it’s recent and blog-related. It’s a flyer for a party I did a couple of weeks ago. Some medicine student friends organized it in order to raise money for their finalist trip, hence the CPR theme :)
I won’t be doing this often, posting old stuff, but this blog needs some content quick, so here’s something quick I did a long time ago. It’s about my favourite videogame space saga - Metroid!
I’m starting a tumblr for posting illustrations, dedicated to space exploration, parallel dimensions and funky music! Hope I can keep it up, and most of all, hope you enjoy!
I’ll apreciate all the feedback you can give me! :)
And to start it off, here’s a painting from a scene of The Forbidden Planet.
